Tyre Care & Maintenance Plan
To maximise tyre life, maintain safety, and get the most from your investment, we recommend a simple Tyre Maintenance Plan as part of your regular servicing.
5 Tips for Making Your Tyres Last Longer
Air Pressure
- Correct tyre pressure is essential for safety and tyre life.
- Inflate tyres when cold, to the manufacturer’s recommended pressure (found in your owner’s manual or door decal, not on the tyre sidewall).
- Under-inflated tyres cause uneven wear and reduce fuel efficiency.
Wheel Alignment
- Impacts from potholes, worn suspension, or rough roads can cause misalignment.
- Signs of misalignment: car pulling to one side, steering wheel off-centre, excessive tyre noise, or uneven tread wear.
- Regular wheel alignment checks prevent premature tyre wear and improve handling.
Rotating & Balancing
- Front and rear tyres wear at different rates. Rotating them regularly spreads wear evenly.
- Balancing ensures smooth rotation, reduces vibration, and extends tyre life.
Driving Style
- Hard acceleration, sharp braking, and fast cornering increase tyre wear.
- Smooth driving extends tyre life and saves fuel.
Vehicle Condition
- Suspension and steering components (e.g., shock absorbers, rack ends, springs) affect tyre wear.
- Worn parts can cause rapid or uneven tread wear — report any unusual tyre behaviour to our service team.
