5 Tips for Making Your Tyres Last Longer

Air Pressure

1. Correct tyre pressure is essential for safety and tyre life.
2. Inflate tyres when cold, to the manufacturer’s recommended pressure (found in your owner’s manual or door decal, not on the tyre sidewall).
3. Under-inflated tyres cause uneven wear and reduce fuel efficiency.

Wheel Alignment

1. Impacts from potholes, worn suspension, or rough roads can cause misalignment.
2. Signs of misalignment: car pulling to one side, steering wheel off-centre, excessive tyre noise, or uneven tread wear.
3. Regular wheel alignment checks prevent premature tyre wear and improve handling.

Rotating & Balancing

1. Front and rear tyres wear at different rates. Rotating them regularly spreads wear evenly.
