Our Story
Every journey begins with a single step, and ours started with a simple vision: to provide exceptional service and build lasting relationships with our community. From humble beginnings, we’ve grown into an organisation that continues to value integrity, innovation, and customer care above all else.
1970
At age 20 Wayne obtained his motor vehicle dealers license and opened his first car yard with the inauguration of Wayne Phillis Motors at Edwardstown, South Australia.
1974
In 1974 Wayne was appointed as a Suzuki Dealer with the inauguration of Wayne Phillis Suzuki at Brighton Road, South Australia.
1985
In 1985 Wayne was appointed as a Ford Dealer with the inauguration of Wayne Phillis Ford at 127 Beach Road, Christies Beach, where it still stands today. Here Wayne Phillis Ford has achieved many coveted awards including Ford Dealer of the Year.
1997
In 1997 Wayne was also appointed as a Kia Dealer with the inauguration of Wayne Phillis Kia at 127 Beach Road, Christies Beach. Kia's rapid growth later saw Wayne Phillis Kia's expansion and move to its own premises at 86 Main South Road, Reynella, where it still stands today. Here Wayne Phillis Kia has achieved many coveted awards including Kia Dealer of the Year and has become South Australia's most awarded Kia Dealer.
2014
In 2014 Wayne was also appointed as a Isuzu Ute Dealer at 127 Beach Road, Christies Beach. Isuzu Ute's rapid growth later saw Wayne Phillis Isuzu Ute's expansion and move to its own premises at 90 Main South Road, Reynella, where it still stands today. Here Wayne Phillis Isuzu Ute has achieved many coveted awards including Isuzu Ute Dealer of the Year.
2022
In 2022 Wayne was also appointed as a KGM SsangYong Dealer bringing about the inauguration of Wayne Phillis KGM SsangYong at 127 Beach Road, Christies Beach, where it still stands today.
2025
In 2025 Wayne was also appointed as a Geely Dealer bringing about the inauguration of Geely Reynella at 73 Main South Road, Reynella, where it still stands today.
